(More customer reviews)This caster is absolutely the wrong one.The picture in the ad, of the base plate and caster, is correct for the 1960 cab, which is the cab that is most commonly paired with the TSL/DSL head, however, the caster sent is the wrong size and there's no way to correctly tighten it down even if it did fit. The caster is completely the wrong design. The correct casters have a hex head bolt on the bottom, so that you can tighten it and the top of the caster seats flush against the base plate, this caster only has a nut on the top of the caster (not as pictured) so that it can't even be tightened or fit flush to the base plate.
I own 5 of these cabs and did a direct comparison, so this is not speculation.I bought these casters as a backup.
I tried to call to correct the problem, but it seems MotoGroup's online service department work less hours than a banker does 8am to 4pm.
They overcharge for shipping usps and will probably try to make me pay for the return shipping, if not, I will correct this entry.
I will attempt to contact one more time. If no success, I guess I will have to kiss 40 dollars goodbye.
If they make it right I will remove this entry, otherwise I will enhance it.
UPDATE:
This guy seems to be dishonest and has no problem pushing this misrepresented product. The product listed is definitely not the product sent, yet he insists it is and this is the only caster they make. There is no nut on the caster in the picture, but there is on the one they sent.
Ed talked over me every time I tried to explain the differences, I told him he was blind or a liar. He said he doesn't get called a liar often (but sometimes apparently) then he hung up.I tried to call "MotoGroup" and they hung up twice and then wouldn't even answer the phone.
First he said he's had this same conversations with others and then on the phone he tried to say I was the only one that complained.
When I talked about the specific model and stock photo they displayed he kept trying to talk over me as to insinuate I was the ignorant one, yet he had no answer.
Buyer beware, it seems they are trying to unload obsolete stock as something it's not. Since Ed wouldn't talk with me, that's all I can deduce.
these guys are not honorable, professional or knowledgeable as they have demonstrated by their communication.
I will be posting a video to show the difference in what is pictured verses what they sent.
UPDATE:
As stated I have posted a video.I keep saying allen wrench at the beginning I meant to say using an allen wrench, sorry.
p.s. Amazon has told me they will take care of this and were very pleasant to me when I contacted them.
thanx
