A few 6/16" deep drillings into the wood would suffice to secure these w/ some screws (washers are provided w/ purchase). a trouble-free experience. I would recommend these to all, only for the result obtained along w/ the satisfaction and easiness of use I experienced

The integral metal washer in the mounting hole helps prevent mounting screw "break-through" and adds overall durability. 1.57" diameter x 0.61" high (40 mm x 15.5 mm). Mounting hardware not included.
