(More customer reviews)I purchased two pair of these speakers to use as side and rear surrounds for my Home Theater system. I did not want to cut holes in the walls and ceilings and would have major problems running wires on a couple of walls so I went with bookshelf speakers. I used hooks and eyes and hung the speakers from the walls. They would look great sitting on a shelf but By hanging them on the wall I can put them in optimal positions for surround sound use. I haven't tried using the speakers by themselves but will testify they make fantastic surrounds. I listen to more Music than Movies but these speakers excel at either task. I did a lot of research before buying these, the specs are right up there with speakers that cost much much more. I am very satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend them as surrounds. I'm using all Cerwin-Vega speakers in my 7.1 surround system and couldn't be happier.
