(More customer reviews)The sides and front consist of very thin metal sheets with holes. This may improve cooling, assuming your're using it somwhere with high winds, but makes it far less sturdy - they're held in place only by slots in the four corner posts.
I was using mine for a SATA drive, so ripped out the IDE connector for more space (why are these always such a tight fit?)
Has no internal fan for cooling, which would be helpful. At least you can flip the top panel to provide a flat black sruface without the logo (if you want to hide it). As often, I question the electronics in these type of units - mine is erratic and frequently not recognized. Personally, I've had the best results from Vantec 3 cases.
