(More customer reviews)Pros: This case is inexpensive and offers toolless installation of drives and peripherals. There is easy access to the case interior, which is roomy and allows you plenty of room to work. The case has a large number of drive bays with room to separate HDDs for heat dissipation. The 120mm fan in the back ventilates the case well and is reasonably quiet.
Cons: The most annoying problem is the oversized power button wiggles in its slot, causing it to stick. Turning the computer either on or off can be a challenge.I am not a big fan of the bright, blue LED light behind the grill that indicates the computer is on.Wires for front front panel ports barely reach the back of my motherboard, where the connector pins are located. The 120mm fan in the back connects directly to the power supply.Consequently, when the computer is on, the fan is on.I would have preferred a fan with a power connector controlled by the motherboard. The case metal is thin and feels flimsy, especially so since I am used to older Dell cases, which have some serious mass.
Other Thoughts: I used this case for a Windows Home Server build.Since it will be running 24/7, the power button problem will not bother me much after I have it configured.A reviewer on another site indicated the power button problem could be fixed with a plastic compatible lubricant.I haven't tried that but I will.Because this machine will be running 24/7, the constantly running exhaust fan will be a bigger annoyance. Therefore, I am ordering a different rear fan with a thermal control, which will turn off when cooling is not needed.I anticipate it will be off most of the time, since I am running a low powered Intel Celeron processor.
Bottom Line: I am satisfied with this case for the purpose it will be used, but I would purchase a better case for a different build.
Update 9/23/09 - Based on the suggestion by a reviewer on another site, I sprayed the power button with silicon spray. I have not had a problem with it sticking since doing so.
