(More customer reviews)I needed a 5" speaker for my kick panels and they had to be shallow due to very limited space. When searching for rear 6x9s, these Pyle PDMR9s were offered as additional speakers people bought. Didn't know much about the brand, but in reading reviews, found they made bigger, more powerful subs. Maybe, I thought, they built the same quality into their smaller speakers. Sure enough. Not only did I get the speakers I needed with less than 2" depth and no additional grill, I got the perfect style and sound. They look like factory pieces and the midrage is the perfect balance to match my rear speakers. The only possible problem I see, there is no protection on the speaker cone. Since these are in the kick panels, a bump with the shoe could damage the speaker.
