(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these when I started out as a DJ. They look ok and were adequate for the small gigs I was playing and are relatively light in weight.
They still work 3 years later so I got my money's worth - one of the banana plugs somehow managed to work loose and drop inside the cabinet, but I usually run them off 1/4 inch plugs anyway.
In retrospect, I have to say that I wish I'd bought a used pair of Peaveys instead mainly because of the huge difference in efficiency. You can't just go off the wattage when you buy speakers -- these speakers are 500 watts PEAK btw -- not Program so they are really more like 250 watt speakers in terms of power.
